Meet Heath Burleson, the President and CEO of Mayroad. Heath is the mastermind behind the company’s big-picture strategy, driving growth and making sure everything runs smoothly. With over 30 years of experience in development, construction, and property operations, he’s been a key player in some pretty impressive projects, including those under the Military Housing Privatization Initiative (MHPI). Notably, he was a key leader in the procurement and closing of the Continental Group P3/MHPI project, managing operations across six Air Force bases. Throughout his career, Heath has led or significantly contributed to well over $2.5 billion in new business growth. At Mayroad, he is all about providing top-notch service to over 12,500 residents and overseeing $900 million in assets. Heath earned his Bachelor of Science in Building Construction from Auburn University, and he is always ready to tackle new challenges. -

Before Mayroad, she was the VP of Operations for an MHPI developer, and she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Writing & Editing from North Carolina State University. -

Jim Petitt is our Chief Financial Officer, bringing 25 years of finance expertise to Mayroad. Jim’s the guy who makes sure our finances are on point and plans our long-term financial game. He is a Lean Six Sigma enthusiast, using those skills for over a decade to fine-tune business operations and cut costs. Before joining us, Jim handled major financial portfolios, including $100 million in capital projects and clean energy. He has a Bachelor's in Business Administration from the University of Florida and an MBA in Finance and Accounting from Regis University. -

Meet Jimmy Scott, Mayroad’s Senior VP of Construction. With 15 years of industry experience, Jimmy handles everything from planning to building across our portfolio. He has successfully led major Public-Private Partnership (P3) projects, like a $550 million student housing project for the University System of Georgia, delivering 3,753 beds on time and on budget. Jimmy also helped kickstart the Continental Group, overseeing the renovation and construction of thousands of homes across six military bases. Jimmy holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Auburn University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Troy University. -

With over 20 years of experience and 16 years specifically in military housing, Kim aligns our operational goals with strategic plans and boosts financial performance. She also mentors our Operation Directors and keeps our stakeholder relationships strong. Before joining us, Kim was the Operations Director at Eglin AFB & Hurlburt Field, where she managed a $28 million redevelopment project. Kim’s leadership ensures top-notch service for our residents. Kim attended the University of New Mexico, where she majored in Communication and Journalism. -

Before joining Mayroad, she was the Principal Installation Planner for the U.S. Air Force at Eglin AFB, where she guided installation development plans and coordinated environmental and land-use initiatives. An AICP-certified planner, Cheryl holds both an MBA and a Master of Science in Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus. She brings a balanced approach of technical precision and community-minded leadership to every Mayroad project. -
