Mayroad Tops DoD Tenant Satisfaction Survey Again with the Continental Group Setting Six-Year Streak of Excellence

Raleigh, NC (August 25, 2025) — Mayroad has once again secured the top spot in customer service across the U.S. Air Force, with the Air Force Continental Group earning the #1 ranking in the 2025 Department of Defense (DoD) Tenant Satisfaction Survey for the sixth consecutive year. The results underscore the company’s unwavering commitment to delivering an exceptional housing experience for military families located at any one of its six communities.

McConnell Air Force Base led the way with the highest Overall Satisfaction Score across all Mayroad sites. The company’s portfolio achieved a remarkable 50.3% response rate, significantly exceeding the industry benchmark of 35%, which demonstrates strong resident engagement and a willingness to share feedback. In addition, five installations, including Edwards Air Force Base, Eglin Air Force Base, Hurlburt Field, McConnell Air Force Base, and Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, earned the prestigious Crystal Service Award, recognizing communities with a Service Score of 85.0 or higher, a 20%+ response rate, and consistent performance across multiple neighborhoods.

“Our team’s dedication to serving military families goes far beyond property management; it’s about creating communities where service members and their families feel supported, respected, and truly at home,” said Heath Burleson, President and Chief Executive Officer at Mayroad. “Earning the top ranking for six consecutive years is a direct reflection of the passion and pride our teams bring to their work every day.”

Five of Mayroad’s installations ranked in the top 18 out of 67 Air Force locations. McConnell Air Force Base and Seymour Johnson Air Force Base ranked in the top five.

The survey results also highlight the role of teamwork across Mayroad’s operations. Sharon Shores, Senior Vice President Asset Management & Property Operations, noted that success comes from every corner of the organization. “These results are not just numbers - they represent trust, care, and a shared commitment to excellence,” she said. “From maintenance crews to resident services to accounting, every team member played a critical role in achieving this milestone, and I could not be prouder.”

The DoD Tenant Satisfaction Survey, administered annually, collects feedback from military housing residents to measure satisfaction across key categories, including property condition, service quality, and overall living experience.
